Frequently Asked Questions
The answers to your questions about our delicious beef.
How does the process work?
Once we are in contact, we will let you know when the next available steer will be ready to process. We take a 60% deposit up front and the rest is due at time of pick up. About a week before processing, we fill out a cut sheet to your liking and answer any question you may have. Once the steer is ready and paid in full we let you know when it is ready for pick up. The processor will have it separated and vacuum packed.
How far do you sell your product?
We will give anybody and everybody a chance at tasting greatness, we will work with anybody on a case by case basis to provide a little piece of Heaven.
How much freezer space do I need?
On average, you will need one cubic foot per 30 pounds of cut and vacuum packed meat (give or take a little for odd size packaging). On average, a whole steer will yield 510 pounds of beef cut and vacuum packed, which equates to a little under 17 cubic feet of freezer space.
Can I use my own processor?
Yes, even though we work with great local packing facilitates, we will sell our beef on the hoof. Contact us for more information.
What should I do if I cannot fit all the product in my freezer?
We have had multiple customers over the years split a half or whole steer with family, friends and Co-workers
